Compass Connect
October 19 | 12:30pm
Compass Connect is for you. Everyone is welcome! This two-hour experience is the perfect opportunity to learn more about Compass Christian Church — what we believe, what we value and how you can take your next step to follow Jesus. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking to deepen your connection, you’ll find a place to belong. Plus, you can meet others on a similar path, ask the questions you always wanted to ask, and enjoy a meal together. Lunch is on us!
At Compass, we believe parents are the greatest spiritual influencers in their children’s lives, and our church exists to partner with you as you help your kids find and follow Jesus.
One of the first steps in this partnership is our Family Dedication Celebration, a beautiful time for you, your church family, and your friends to gather in support of your commitment to raise your children to know and love Christ.
This special event will include a heartfelt message from one of our pastors, live worship, personalized gifts, family presentations, a time of community prayer, and a light brunch.
Important: All parents and guardians participating in Family Dedication must first attend our Family Dedication Class on Tuesday, October 22 at 6:30 PM in room B100 . This class is required and will provide key information to help prepare your family for the celebration. Childcare will be provided.
Event Details:
Family Dedication Class: Wednesday, October 22 | 6:30 PM
Family Dedication Celebration: Saturday, November 15 | 10:30 AM
Sunday : November 16 – families may choose the service time of their choice to be prayed over on stage by our church family.
We can’t wait to celebrate this meaningful milestone with your family!

About Jesus
It’s natural to have questions about God. Have you ever wondered what God thinks of you? Do you have questions about who Jesus is and why people want to follow him? Have you ever considered what it means to become a follower of Jesus? These are great questions!
Made New
Baptism is the way of expressing our commitment to following Jesus; it is a pledge of our faith and life to God. It best symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It also signifies your new life in Christ as your sins are washed away with your faith in Jesus and you become a new creation in Him.

Community Groups
Compass Groups are all about building community. Groups are typically made up of six to ten people who gather together once a week in homes, restaurants or other places in our community. Compass Groups are built around individuals sharing similar interests or life stages and they’re one of the best ways to develop meaningful connection at Compass while growing in your walk with Christ.
Serve Opportunities
At Compass, we believe every Christ-follower is called to serve and minister to others, impacting lives in meaningful ways. Our mission is to connect you with a volunteer team where your unique talents can shine, fostering real change. More than serving, it’s about joining a community of volunteers, building lasting friendships, and enjoying the journey together. Explore this page to discover where you’re called to contribute. Prayer
Prayer
Prayer is purposeful communication with God. God invites people to pray and communicate with Him throughout the day. We should pray when things are going great and when life is lousy. In fact, the Bible encourages us to “pray continually” (1 Thes. 5:17). Prayer can happen anywhere and at any time as God is always available to listen.
Sometimes we may want to pray, but not know where to start. The good news is that God understands what we’re trying to say—even if we don’t quite know how to say it (Romans 8:26-27). God cares about what’s going on in your life: the good, the bad and even the ugly. In fact, he wants to help you with whatever’s going on in your life—all you have to do is ask. The Bible says we can approach God with confidence, knowing that He is ready and willing to help us whenever we’re in need (Hebrews 4:16).
