About Jesus
It’s natural to have questions about God. Have you ever wondered what God thinks of you? Do you have questions about who Jesus is and why people want to follow him? Have you ever considered what it means to become a follower of Jesus? These are great questions!
All In
Go all-in with Jesus through baptism
What does it mean to go “all-in” with Jesus? It means He is Lord and leader of your life, and that you’ve decided to trust and follow Him. Baptism is an outward expression of that decision and a symbol our new life found in Jesus.
Compass Groups
Compass Groups are all about building community. Groups are typically made up of six to ten people who gather together once a week in homes, restaurants or other places in our community. Compass Groups are built around individuals sharing similar interests or life stages and they’re one of the best ways to develop meaningful connection at Compass while growing in your walk with Christ.
Changemakers
At Compass, we believe every Christ-follower is called to minister to others. They are called to impact others in a real and lasting way. They are called to be CHANGERMAKERS. It is our goal to help you find a team where you can use your God-given gifts to help make a difference, build friendships, and have fun!
Prayer
Prayer
Prayer is purposeful communication with God. God invites people to pray and communicate with Him throughout the day. We should pray when things are going great and when life is lousy. In fact, the Bible encourages us to “pray continually” (1 Thes. 5:17). Prayer can happen anywhere and at any time as God is always available to listen.
Sometimes we may want to pray, but not know where to start. The good news is that God understands what we’re trying to say—even if we don’t quite know how to say it (Romans 8:26-27). God cares about what’s going on in your life: the good, the bad and even the ugly. In fact, he wants to help you with whatever’s going on in your life—all you have to do is ask. The Bible says we can approach God with confidence, knowing that He is ready and willing to help us whenever we’re in need (Hebrews 4:16).
Next Gen
Early Childhood- 8 weeks – Kindergarten
We have a plan to help your child discover God, no matter their age! There’s a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, learning, and laughter in every experience!
Every child will learn:
• God MADE me.
• God LOVES me.
• Jesus wants to be my FRIEND forever.
Elementary – 1st grade – 4th grade
We’re helping kids grow in faith and build great friendships.
They’ll have so much fun learning:
• I NEED to make the wise choice
• I can TRUST God no matter what.
• I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Preteens 5th – 6th grade
We know the preteen years can be complicated. Students are growing up fast and need a place where they can learn how God sees them. Our goal is to create a community where every preteen knows they matter and belong.
YTH (7th-12th Grade) – Wednesdays • 6:30 p.m.
7th and 8th graders have unique needs as they develop and grow. Each week, we have tons of fun together making friends and learning from God’s word. Every student will connect in a Life Group with their peers and caring leaders. 9th-12th grade students need a place to belong and a community they can count on. We want to mobilize the potential of high school students and help them find a purpose bigger than themselves. We also encourage our Junior High and High School students to serve the church in fun ways on the weekend, using their gifts to impact those around them.
The Bridge
The Bridge is a youth rec center providing 7th-12th graders with a fun and safe place to engage and connect with other students in our community. Activities at the Bridge include full gym, skate park, climbing wall, game room, café and free tutoring. Students can hang out after school, on the weekends and find a place where they truly belong. Special Needs
We seek to provide an appropriate setting for kids and teens with special needs to learn how much God loves them. By partnering with parents, we strive to meet the unique spiritual, physical and social needs of these kids and teens, while enabling parents and caregivers to attend church.
