This two-hour experience is the perfect opportunity to learn more about Compass Christian Church — what we believe, what we value and how you can take your next step to follow Jesus. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking to deepen your connection, you’ll find a place to belong. Plus, you can meet others on a similar path, ask the questions you always wanted to ask, and enjoy a meal together. Lunch is on us!

God uses ordinary people to make an eternal difference. If you’re passionate about helping others grow in faith and build meaningful relationships, we invite you to consider leading a group. You don’t need all the answers just a willing heart, a teachable spirit, and a commitment to walk alongside others as they follow Jesus together in authentic, life-giving community weekly.

Something new is coming to Compass—and we can’t wait to experience it with you!
Starting Thursday, July 30, join us for our brand-new Thursday Evening Service, designed to help you connect, grow, and build meaningful relationships. The evening begins with dinner at 5:15 PM, followed by a worship service at 6:15 PM. After service, stick around for Table Groups, where you can discuss the message, meet new people, and take your next step in community. Childcare will be available during Table Groups. Invite a friend, bring your family, and be part of something special from the very beginning. We’ll see you Thursday nights at Compass!

Baptism is the way of expressing our commitment to following Jesus; it is a pledge of our faith and life to God. It best symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It also signifies your new life in Christ as your sins are washed away with your faith in Jesus and you become a new creation in Him.

Community Groups
Compass Groups are all about building community. Groups are typically made up of six to ten people who gather together once a week in homes, restaurants or other places in our community. Compass Groups are built around individuals sharing similar interests or life stages and they’re one of the best ways to develop meaningful connection at Compass while growing in your walk with Christ.

Prayer
Prayer
Prayer is purposeful communication with God. God invites people to pray and communicate with Him throughout the day. We should pray when things are going great and when life is lousy. In fact, the Bible encourages us to “pray continually” (1 Thes. 5:17). Prayer can happen anywhere and at any time as God is always available to listen.
Sometimes we may want to pray, but not know where to start. The good news is that God understands what we’re trying to say—even if we don’t quite know how to say it (Romans 8:26-27). God cares about what’s going on in your life: the good, the bad and even the ugly. In fact, he wants to help you with whatever’s going on in your life—all you have to do is ask. The Bible says we can approach God with confidence, knowing that He is ready and willing to help us whenever we’re in need (Hebrews 4:16).

LIFE-CHANGING GENEROSITY
Generosity is a core part of our culture at Compass because God has been so generous to us. Giving is an act of worship — a grateful response to what He has done in our lives. And it’s only through the generosity and response of others that Compass is able to meet the needs of people all around the world and help them find and follow Jesus.
